Hi Lou
I have been following your work for some time. It was an article on your work that inspired me to focus on food photography. I hope to attend one of your workshops in NY in the near future. PLEASE have some more Live Webinars - I missed the last one! Also, PLEASE update your blog sometime, I would love see more of your work and photo tips!
Thanks for keeping me hungry!

Hello! What happened to the rest of this post? I'd love to read what you have to say on flashes. I just picked up a new 430EX II and I'm trying to figure out the best ways to use it, like how to bounce it and from which direction. Or should I build a small softbox and point it at the food directly?

I am a chef and aspiring food and commercial photographer. I am sooo glad I found your blog, I am starting a fine arts photography program in the fall. I have found that even though I am learning a tremendous amount they have little to no knoowledge of how to light food. Thanks to tutorials like yours I now know how and can apply them to my photos! Thanks!
